Loïc Manceau et l’ECMV réunis dans le magazine de la ville de Vigneux

Loïc Manceau, journaliste que nous retrouvons régulièrement lors des évènements et des différentes courses cyclistes du sud de l’Ile de France, ancien licencié du club ECMV, animateur du site « Radio Peloton » (http://www.radiopeloton.fr/), a rédigé un ouvrage « Les 100 Excuses du Cycliste » publié et commercialisé fin d’année 2021.

Le magazine de la ville de Vigneux-sur-Seine (VLM du mois de mars 2022) n’a pas manqué de marquer l’évènement avec la parution d’un article présentant à la fois Loïc, son ouvrage, tout en faisant référence à l’ECMV :

Le livre compile sur 150 pages, 100 d’anecdotes vécues ou entendues par son auteur qui passe ses week-ends sur les routes suivre les compétitions cyclistes amateures pour différents médias.

« Prendre le parti de compiler ces excuses ou prétextes, était pour moi, un moyen original de parler avec humour du cyclisme et de faire le trait d’union entre les initiés et les non-initiés qui peuvent chacun se reconnaitre dans ce livre », souligne Loïc Manceau.

Au fil des pages, le Vigneusien dépeint ainsi ces justifications parfois réelles, mais aussi fallacieuses employées pour justifier une contre-performance en compétition, abandonner une balade, voire ne pas monter sur son vélo du tout.
